From Ukraine to California: A New Beginning
My name is Nadia Popova, and this is my story. In 2012, I made a life-changing decision to move from Ukraine to California. The transition was anything but easy. I was jobless, incredibly insecure, didn't know who I was, didn't speak the language, had never driven a car before, and essentially had to start my life over. Despite having over a decade of experience in family law in Ukraine, I never felt that this was what I was meant to do. When I moved, I thought I had failed miserably at life. I didn’t know why I was here or if I would even be able to survive. To add to the challenge, my family offered me zero support regarding my decision to move to California.

However, I knew in my heart that I had something to offer this world. Simply put, I had no idea what it was yet! I struggled to find meaning and purpose in my new life in San Diego during my first year in California. Being a former lawyer who was used to being understood and heard by others, it was extremely uncomfortable for me to find myself in a new country with a strong accent and a language barrier. I asked myself, "Ok, dear, what's next?!" My inner voice answered, "Well, how about beginning with believing in yourself again?"

The Start of My Fitness Journey
I began my fitness journey with the unspoken goal of becoming a better version of myself so that people would like and accept me. It may sound crazy, but it's true. I participated in 11 competitions across the nation in less than 5 years, winning first place and the title of overall champion. I dominated the competition stage and had a toned body. But as soon as I stopped living the athletic bodybuilding lifestyle, I would experience low self-esteem, low motivation, and negative body image. My mental health appeared to be a problem. I was able to alter my physical appearance, but not my mentality.

A 360-Degree Transformation
"What's next, my dear?" was a question I needed to ask myself once more. This time, my inner voice told me to use my heart—it's your most powerful tool. I started reading every self-help book I could lay my hands on. This ultimately guided me to become a powerful coach that brings a blend of knowledge in spirituality, self-development, and physical training. I researched the impact of the subconscious on human existence. That was a full 360 degrees turnaround in my life.

My Coaching Philosophy
My coaching now centers on self-development, overcoming limiting beliefs, and having a healthy relationship with nutrition. Following more than a decade of my own transformation, my goal is to guide you in becoming the best version of yourself—to MASTER YOUR MINDSET, TAP INTO YOUR TRUE POWER, and live in the best body you can ever be.
